Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Joood - Hooligan of Platypire reviews bossed me into doing this, so I guess this is a thing I do now.
This week’s theme is best books I read in 2018. You should know that I'm not a big fan of compiling lists like this because it's often quite hard for me to narrow things down like that. It's even harder when about two-thirds of my yearly reading is for work and I don't want to offend any of my clients by not picking their books (and I have more than ten clients so...) With that in mind, I will be excluding ALL books that I proofread from the running for this. That doesn't mean they weren't good books (because I had the privilege of proofreading a lot of books that I really enjoyed), it just means I'm trying to be as diplomatic as possible while compiling this list and it's safer to knock them out of the running simply because I was paid to read them.
And these books are in no particular order because it's bad enough just having to pick my the top ten.

So those are my ten top reads of 2018 (excluding books I proofread). I'm thinking next year I'm going to have to adjust this topic some because it definitely leaves out some of the better books I read this year because I proofread them. But I've got about 365 days to think about what I'm going to do on that front.
