*Review* Queen of Draga by Emma Dean

Genre: Science Fiction/Romance
Published: October 9, 2018
Pages: 297

Book 5 of the Draga Court series.

I was hired to proofread this book. The only aspects of the book that I influenced were the spelling and grammar. If you feel that my connection to the book makes my review untrustworthy, so be it, but this is my honest review.

Sweet Adelina, the seemingly submissive third-born daughter has taken the throne and shed much of the sweet submissiveness that characterized her life before the Neprijat threat. She has been an intriguing character since the beginning of the series, what with her secret escapades outside the palace walls, but in this story she turns into an undeniable badass. She takes charge as if she'd been training for it her whole life and she gets what she wants, everyone she wants.

I was thrilled that the Drakesthai were willing to work with Adelina to hopefully rid the universe of the Neprijat threat once and for all, and she showed that she is up to the task in a few different action-packed battle scenes. But it will certainly not be easy if the ending is anything to go by.

Overall I give Queen of Draga 4.879 stars. - Katie

Emma Dean lives and works in California with her husband and son. She loves romance but needed something different so Draga Court was born. With too many stories to write the schedule has been filled through 2018.

When she’s not writing she’s reading, or spending time with her family.
With publishing now at least she has an excuse for not folding the laundry ;)
