February has come to and end, and that means I've got to update y'all on how my reading and reviewing went throughout the month. I did a great job at getting reviews posted to the blog (and also making a dent in my review backlog). And even though I didn't read as many books in February as I did in January, I've gotten reviews written for most of the books I've finished this year as well, which is going to help me out with knocking out the review backlog, because I'm at least not adding to it at the moment. But let's see how my reading and reviewing went, shall we?

February ended up being a slow reading month for me, with me only finishing 12 books. But I spent one weekend of February on a girl's trip where I did a whole lot of peopling and almost no reading at all, so I'm not mad about only finishing 12 books. I ended up posting more than two reviews per day (on average) and hand wrote 38 chapter book reviews that can be posted in March now. I also got my Netgalley feedback percentage up to 38% from the 33% it started at in February, so I made some real good progress on that front. I'll happily take a reduced number of books finished when the tradeoff is such a dent in my review backlog. Another thing that impacted my reading in February is that I joined a community choir, so I spend two hours every Monday night at choir practice, which definitely cuts into my reading time. So that's where I ended things in February (with The Reading List being misattributed because I finished it yesterday when I was out of the house all day for book club things). Hopefully March is just as good for progress as February was. - Katie
