Dino-pool. / Swimming meet. / Goggled eyes. / Teams compete.
Dinosaurs swim and dive as fun rhyming text from Lisa Wheeler describes the action. Young readers will want to dive right in and join the fun in this high-energy board book!
I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.
This is a book of very simple phrases, with fairly simply, but bright and bold illustrations, which is exactly what I always looked for in board books when my kids were infants and toddlers. There isn't really a story here, just short descriptions of what the pictures are showing, which is dinosaurs swimming.
This would be a great book for any parents who themselves really like dinosaurs. If I had come out a few years ago, I probably would have bought a copy for a dino-obsessed friend, but her spawn is past the board book stage now.
Overall I give My First Dino-Swimming 4.9636 out of 5 stars because it's basically perfect for what it is. - Katie
