*Review* Do Not Eat Like a Tiger Shark by Etta Kaner

Animals eat and drink in surprising, amazing and downright weird ways. Bearded vultures throw their food. Dogs slurp when they’re thirsty. Amazon horned frogs swallow their meal whole. Cows burp. You should definitely NOT copy their behavior at the dinner table. It wouldn’t be funny at all. In fact it could be disastrous. So mind your manners and find out what you should NOT do when you’re eating or drinking.

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

This was a cute story about the unique ways that some animals eat. For instance, I think the tiger shark eats literally everything, which would be a very bad idea for a human to emulate that. It was a pretty informative book about the dining habits of a variety of animals, with clear examples of why a human child should not try to be like them (although if it would encourage a picky eater to try some new things...)

I think books that focus on what you should not do tend to be pretty popular with kids, especially if you play along and "argue" with them if/when they say they're going to do the thing they were just told not to do. The illustrations were really quite silly, but also bright and colorful.

Overall I give Do Not Eat Like a Tiger Shark 4.3976 out of 5 stars. - Katie
