Stacking The Shelves is a feature/weekly meme created by Reading Reality in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Now, I already have a monthly post I do featuring the books I get in the mail (and it's a lot because I have a serious Goodreads First Reads giveaway addiction), and I'm posting my monthly Read-A-Thon posts again too, which covers the books I receive through Netgalley. So my STS post will feature all the books I've been one-clicking on Amazon.
On that note, here are the books I picked up this week. All Goodreads First Reads ebook wins unless otherwise specified.
Praesidium by McKinley Aspen
The Last Beginning by Charlie Nottingham - I one-clicked this book for $1.99 (but that was paid for with either gift cards or Amazon ebook credits, so it felt like it was free for me).
Oceans for a Thief by Lloyd Reman
Have I Told You This Already by Lauren Graham - I one-clicked this book because I really enjoyed listening to Talking As Fast as I Can so I knew this was a book I'd want to read too. I'm thinking about adding the audio, just have to decide if I wanna drop the $10.50 to do that. Maybe if I start flying through audiobooks by listening at work I will.
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green - I one-clicked this book on sale (it's not still on sale) because I really enjoyed The Fault in Our Stars and I've had my eye on this one since it released pretty much. I may even actually read it at some point.
Guided Tarot: A Beginner's Guide to Card Meanings, Spreads, and Intuitive Exercises for Seamless Readings by Stefanie Caponi - I one-clicked this book on sale (no longer on sale) because I recently found my tarot deck after we cleaned out our storage unit, and I wanna learn what I'm doing with it.
Elements of Chemistry by Penny Reid - I one-clicked this book as a freebie (I don't think it's still free now) because I have never read a Penny Reid book I didn't enjoy, and I hadn't read this one yet.
Something Like a Dream by Tracy Tripp
Mighty Flower: How Cannabis Saved my Son by Dr. Annabelle Manalo-Morgan, PhD
CustomHer Experience by Katie Mares
And that is all the new ebooks I've added to my shelves over the past week. This list is MUCH shorter than last weeks because of way less freebie one-clicking. Most of these were even purchases, but thanks to Amazon considering Goodreads ebook wins as purchases made on my part, I have a lot of points from their book rewards program which makes all my one-clicking on non-freebies also free for me so far. It's nice.
What new books have you added to your shelves recently? If you're stopping by from the linkup, please be sure to drop a link to your post so I can be sure to check out your pretties too. - Katie
I used to love trying to fortune tell with my tarot cards and like you, recently found them again. My interest has been restarted after reading The Cloisters too
