Synopsis

EMMANUELLE IN WONDERLAND is a love letter to Hollywood and Broadway musicals of the past. While participation in a scientific experiment, a young woman falls through a wormhole and winds up in Wonderland! This is not the Wonderland you remember, but a brand new world where all fairy tales exist and they are finally all grown up! On her journey to find her way back home, Emmanuelle encounters The Mad Hatter, Goldilocks, The Big Bad Wolf, Dorothy, The Scarecrow, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, Snow White, The Frog Prince, The Evil Queen and many more! What follows is the most outrageous, sexy musical comedy of the year featuring 12 original songs! It's naked 'Glee' meets Disney on acid! For children of all ages... Over 18!

Review

Y'all, I started watching this movie while I was making supper for my family, with the windows open because it was a nice day, not realizing that it was soft-core porn. I did not get very far into the movie before I was scrambling to stop it and shut the windows. I expect nudity in my B movies, so when the wormhole to Wonderland left Emmanuelle naked, I didn't really think much of it. The orgy at the Mad Hatter's tea party not ten minutes later, however, was not expected at all. Luckily my kids are 13 and 11 and mostly do their own things at this point, not wanting to spend time with us as much, so they weren't present for that turn of events. I had no choice but to turn the movie off at this point to return to it later, in my room, when the kids were in bed. Silver lining was that I was able to talk my husband into watching the rest of it with me (a surprise to everyone I'm sure).

After that Emmanuel goes on an adventure through Wonderland where she encounters all sorts of of our favorite classic fairytale characters. This is something I would have known to expect if I'd seen the "Glee meets Once Upon a Time only naked and on acid" tagline. The various encounters were mildly amusing. Making it a musical was a bit awkward. The songs were clearly written for this movie and they weren't great. They weren't necessarily bad, but aside from Tijuana Sex Donkey, they were not bops.

I'm pretty sure the highlight of the movie for my husband was recognizing Ron Jeremy when he made his first appearance. And while he is one of the three names listed as starring in the movie, that's only because of the name recognition. He plays a very small role in the movie, and his clothes stay on.

I might watch this movie again, because it did make me laugh. And I'll know better than to watch it when my kids might walk in.
