Sam Woods has a secret.
She keeps it hidden from the world … the world of the living, that is.

A Dominant with dark tastes, Doug offers Sam a glimpse into his world. He invites her to take part in an experiment to explore the extremes of pleasure. Seduced by his lifestyle, Sam agrees. There’s just one little catch … Doug also has a secret.

Review
I was hired to proofread this book. Ms. Weis is likely aware that I would be reviewing afterwards as I have worked with her in the past, but it was not part of our agreement. If you feel that my connection to the book makes my review untrustworthy, so be it, but this is my honest review.
Going into this book I was worried that it was going to basically be a retelling of Dark Perception, just with different characters. I should have known better because I've never encountered that from Ms. Weis before.
In Dark Attraction I was treated to a story with dynamic characters. I enjoyed the verbal sparring between Sam[antha] and Doug. Sam is anything but a pushover and probably the worst submissive candidate ever, which makes it that much sweeter when she does submit, even a little bit.
There were times when the book was reminiscent of 50 Shades for me, mostly in Doug saying he can only be with a woman as a submissive, but there were a few other little things too. I'm actually not fond of that type of storyline, but I appreciated the way Sam reacted for the most part.
Overall I give Dark Attraction 4.5 out of 5 stars. - Katie
