*Review* Sublime Wreckage by Charlene Zapata

Sublime wreckage is a very emotional, beautiful and heartbreaking story. I experienced a wide range of emotions when I was reading this book and I finished it in one sitting.

Maggie is a teenager who has been through so much and has seen so much in her short life. All she wants is to graduate high school and get very far away from her mother. The only person she can rely on is her best friend Amanda. That is until one day she meets Vincent.

Vincent doesn't have a good reputation. He's known as the "BadBoy" about town. When Maggie meets him though, she sees straight through him and knows that he's not the "BadBoy" he's made out to be. Vincent and Maggie form a very strong friendship, but is there more between the two of them than just friendship? Will Vincent be able to gain Maggie's trust? Will Maggie end up heartbroken?

Maggie is a very vulnerable character.  She has been through so much in her short life that  you can't help but feel for her. She's been broken down time and time again, but some how still manages to stay strong and carry on with her life as best she can. You want nothing more than for her to be saved and given the decent life that she deserves.

Vincent has also experienced tragedy in his life and has been labelled as a "BadBoy" even though that's not the truth. In reality Vincent is the complete opposite of a "BadBoy". He's sweet, caring and very hard working. If people spent the time getting to know him then they'd see they've judged him wrong and that those people judging him are making his life worse than it already is.

Maggie and Vincent are made for each other. They make each other's lives better and for once make each other happy. I loved watching their relationship develop from true friendship to more. Their bond was incredible and I enjoyed their journey together.

The author has written a lovely story. I was completely engrossed in the story and the journey the author took us on. I was experiencing all the highs and lows along with Vincent and Maggie as well as the twists and turns.

This was a great story about friendship, young love and growing up.
I enjoyed the book and I'm looking forward to the next installment. - Kim
