*Platypire Read-A-Thon* May List and Results

Because May is already almost over (we only have one week left) and I already know that I'm not going to be getting any more reviews posted in that time (probably), and I know right now exactly which books I will be finishing by the end of the month, I'm just going to give y'all my May list and results in one handy dandy post. That means this post will give you any reviews I posted in May (I think there was all of one), tell you which books have been added to my ever growing Needs Reviewed list, and show you which books have been added to my TBR list from Netgalley and Penguin's First to Read. At this point, it just makes sense to do it this way, and in June, I'll try to get my list posted much closer to the beginning of the month. So here we go.

It feels like I haven't read many books this month, but that's because almost all of the books I have read have been proofreads, and I've only managed to get through two audiobooks, which is below average for me lately. And in spite of that reduced reading, I have added several new books to the list (due in part to my Netgalley YA Request Roulette game I played for a Top Ten Tuesday this month. I got approved for more of those books than I was expecting.) So this is where I stand. I could review a book a day for the entire month of June and still have books that I need to get reviewed. And I think even if I didn't add a single new book to my TBR and actually stuck to the books already on this list, I'd be set for reading until about the middle of next year. Can anyone teach me temperance or self-restraint, because I kind of need to develop those things. - Katie
