Are there any novels set on or near Thanksgiving that you love rereading or recommend as a heartwarming November read? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
There are not any books I can think of off the top of my head that are set around Thanksgiving, and honestly, I've never sought them out as I don't find myself seeking out holiday themed books until just after Thanksgiving when I want all of the Christmas cheesy romances I can get. This doesn't mean I've never read a book set around Thanksgiving, and if I could remember it, I would likely recommend it as a nice heart-warming read for November, but sadly, my memory has failed me.
What about you? Have you read any heartwarming Thanksgiving tales that I should check out? Or are you like me and all about the Christmas cheese?

ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I go for Christmas murder mystery 😂 the romance stuff can get a bit much sometimes 😂 I have to be in the mood for it (or on a Blog Tour 😂).

Yeah I've seen tons of the Christmas romance books around. But usually with my paranormal reads, holidays don't factor into the story. I did read one novella collection years ago that had a holiday theme, but I don't really go back and re-read it every year. But yeah, Thanksgiving definitely doesn't have its own story. Though I'm trying to remember if one book I read had it or if it was just a Sunday dinner. But then I still can't remember the book itself. I feel like I'm taking a stab at series wise but even then it's still a long shot! Lol.

Yeah, Thanksgiving is not something that is the focus of main novels. Or maybe the book has it, but it has a larger span of time, so it has the other holidays like Christmas. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
