We are on to a new week for the Book Blogger Hop hosted by the lovely folks over at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. This weeks questions is:
What do you think? Should I go back and update my oldest review posts to look like my current posts or leave them as they stand? And do you ever change things in your posts? - Katie
*If you're stopping by from the linkup, please be sure to leave a link to your post so I can see your answer.*
Do you ever go back to older posts and change things? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)Nope, not evening spelling mistakes when I find them (which is a little odd because they make me cringe every time I see them). I have been considering going back to my oldest blog posts, especially the reviews, and updating them to match with my current post style for reviews, but that's like effort and I'm just not sure there is much point in expending that effort.

I would leave them as they stand as long as they're readable. But then I'm a bit lazy! I don't go back to mine and change things though I do have a few new reviews scheduled that are rereads of books I read in my early days of blogging.
ReplyDeleteAw man I cannot leave grammatical or spelling mistakes because it drives me insane. But I won't change thoughts or opinions on reviews. It's nice to see my mind changing or even my progress with writing. I think changing old posts takes away from being able to see yourself grow as a writer/blogger! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteMy Book Blogger Hop!
I hate grammatical errors and typos too...I am pretty careful to not make any, but at times we all do. I found one and changed it, but I do not make it a habit to check. I did like seeing my old reviews and was plesantly surprised how they have improved, but I did not change anything.
ReplyDeleteNo on changing your older reviews. It is always good to see how you have improved. Leave them. :)
Thanks for joining in the fun, Katie.
Do whatever you want!!! =)
ReplyDeleteOne of my goals this year is to fix the older posts, add links, and make sure they are listed on my book lists.
