*Blog Tour* Shhh...Mack's Side by Jettie Woodruff and Gianna's Side by M. Robinson

Private message Jettie on FB to be let in the back door of her private group where the release day party for Mack's side will be held.

My name is McKenzie Perry. I’ve lived a life filled with secrets. Secrets that took me years to understand.
Secrets that my bestie, Gia, and I kept from the world. Secrets that only I knew. I wasn’t afraid of the lies,
the secrets, or the hidden skeletons. That’s not what frightened me. I was afraid that one day they would come out, somebody would find out the truth. If I am the only one that knew the secrets, the lies, then they were safe, right?

It took several years for me to understand the impact of lies. Lies I told, secrets I kept, and the lives they controlled. One of the things I know to be true is I did the things I did for a reason, even if I didn’t know it at the time.

They all had a reason.

My name is Mack and this is my side of the story.

Review:

I love the idea behind this story, having two authors simultaneously write two sides to the same story. From everything I've seen on Facebook, I'm luckier than Kim because I had Mack's side of the story for review, and I've seen a lot of people say that it's better to read Mack's side first. I honestly feel like I have the "whole" story after reading Mack's side, or at least it could be the whole story if there wasn't another half to it already out there.

Mack's story is one of lies, deceit, and betrayal. Mack lies to just about everyone, because they can never know her dirty little secrets. But eventually all her lies catch up to her, and she's forced to pay the price. Luckily for her, she has an involuntary ace up her sleeve.

Jettie Woodruff has done a great job of bringing these characters to life (I'm guessing M. Robinson was also involved in that to an extent, although I can't say for sure as I haven't read Gianna's side of the story yet). Her characters are real and flawed and surprisingly relatable considering how very little I have in common with Mack. I really felt like I was in Mack's shoes throughout this story.

I would definitely rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it sucked me in and held me captive through the end, and even though the story feels complete, it also left me dying to read Gianna's side. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes their books a little bit fucked up. - Katie

Jettie Woodruff is a lifelong writer, living in a pretend world since she was a little girl. Jettie spent hours filling pages of spiral notebooks with a number two pencil and a wild imagination. Her very first story was a scifi of all things.
Jettie writes more along the lines of erotica now. She likes to keep her readers on edge, and deliver a story that will pull out every emotion possible. Writing on the edge of taboo and dark, Jettie hopes to distribute an adventure you'll not soon forget.

Married for twenty five years, raising two boys and one girl has left lots of writing material. She has recently become a grandma to not one, but two of the most beautiful little girls on planet earth.

Jettie also hates doing this bio. That's all you get. She loves to read and write. What else is there? <3

Have you ever lied? Held secrets? Betrayed someone?
I have.
McKenzie and I were best friends, soul sisters. We shared everything…or so she thought. To everyone I was perfect and happy. No one knew the real me. That was until I saw him. Everything changed the second we laid eyes on each other. The world stopped moving and only we existed in it. But it just added to the secrets and lies, it became too much and I couldn’t tell apart what was real and what wasn’t.
This story is for anyone who has ever lied and lived to regret it…

Review:

I loved the idea that M.Robinson and Jettie Woodruff decided to write 2 books together. Jettie Woodruff writing from Macks POV and M Robinson writing from Gia's POV.

I haven't read Macks POV before writing this review so I can only comment on the book I have read. However I wish I had read Macks First as I feel I've missed some important background knowledge I needed from the book.  However the book does alternate from past and present. I'd defiantly say you really need to read both books to get the full effect though.
I went in the book not really knowing what to expect, but very soon in to the book you realise that Gia is a complete bitch. I wanted to read more as fast as I could to find out what had happened to her to make her such a complex, emotionless, cold hearted character who doesn't care about anything and who you can't help but hate either.

Gia has the perfect life. She has family and friends who love her, a amazing boyfriend and a best friend, Mack who she adores. She's perfect in every way. But her whole life is a complete lie. She's completely messed up and lost. She has no idea who she is.
Gia and Mack have been best friends for years, they did everything together, but were always competitive of each other. One always wanted to be better than the other. They wanted to spend their lives doing the same things, going to the same school and life happily together. However live doesn't always work out the way you think it will.
As years go by, you see that neither really knew each other as well as they thought and because of this Gia ends up making Huge mistakes and turns in to the biggest bitch I've ever read about.

The whole book is full of lies and deception. The more lies Gia tells the more she has to tell to cover up the lies before. She just gets in a very bad cycle.
The whole book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I never knew what was going to happen next, other than that the next page and the page after etc wasn't going to be hearts and roses.

The story was very unpredictable and written perfectly. M.Robinson is amazing author and this book really shows off just how amazing she really is.
The book will have you on the edge of your seat from the start to finish and isn't predictable in the slightest.

I want to tell you so much more about this amazing book, but it's a book you just need to jump, straight in and read. Spoilers will ruin the whole experience.

You you really need to know is that this is a 5 star read by a amazingly talented author that will 100% blow you away and take you on a thrilling ride. - Kim Howlett
