*Stacking the Shelves* 4 November 2017

(Titles link to Amazon via Amazon Affiliate links)

Stacking The Shelves is a feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I know you've probably gotten used to my massive thrift store hauls over the past several weeks, but I'm not getting any more of those. See, we're going to be moving in the next couple of months and I'm supposed to stop adding weight to our household goods (because the company my husband works for will only pay to move so many pounds, and I kind of have a lot of books.) I've been put on a physical book buying ban (my husband can't really enforce it because I go to the thrift store when he's at work, but I'm trying to pretend to be a responsible adult here). So this weeks post is going to feature ebooks that I've purchased over the past week, because I actually buy a fair number of those on a regular basis too, but the seems almost like they're not real books because I can't touch them (you understand, right?)

On that note, here are the books I one-clicked this week.

The Fish Tales Complete 4-Book Set by Suanne Laqueur - This boxset includes The Man I Love, Give Me Your Answer True, Here to Stay, and The Ones that Got Away. I already owned all four of these as ebooks and audiobooks separately, but when I saw that the boxset was on sale for $4.99 (no longer on sale, sorry), I bought it simply so I could be terrified by the number of locations in the book (because Suanne does not write small books.)
Mermaids Can Ride Bicycles by Delphina Henley - This was a freebie kids book that I happened to stumble upon on Facebook (no longer free, but only 99 cents). It looks at least a little intriguing.
The Christmas Secret by Jeannie Watt - I got this freebie (still free) to have extra options for the 12 Books of Christmas Challenge that I'm hosting starting at the end of November. I'm pretty sure I saw it on Lenoreo from Celebrity Reader's STS post last weekend.
Enchanted: A Paranormal New Adult Novella Collection by various authors - I one-clicked this freebie because Julie Wetzel, one of the authors, shared the blurb for her story with me to use for my #MadLibMonday post this past week.
My Love - Bobby and Sophie by Melanie Shawn - This is another Christmas freebie that I one-clicked for options for the 12 Books of Christmas Challenge. I really like having options.
Sixty Magnificent Years by Mark Lages - I'm not sure why I bought this book, honestly. It apparently seemed like a good idea at the time.
Fired by Cora Brent - I one-clicked this as a freebie (no longer free) because I saw it posted on Ms. Brent's Facebook page.
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon - I bought this book on sale for $1.99 (still on sale) because I enjoyed Everything Everything when I read it, so I figured this book was worth a shot as well.
Rescue Team Nine: Life Struggle by Sabrina D. Guthrie - I grabbed this freebie (still free) after seeing it shared on Ms. Guthrie's Facebook page.
Riches to Rags by Casey L. Bond - Looking at the cover of this book, and the tag line in particular, I imagine this story is like a Cinderella and The Prince and the Pauper mash-up retelling, which is super intriguing to me. And the cover is just so gorgeous.

So that's it. That's all the ebooks I one-clicked this week. Pretty much all freebies or sale items, but still more books than I can possibly read in a week. It's very possible I have a serious addiction to books in all their forms.

What books have you added to your shelves this week? - Katie
