What inspired you to become an author?
LOL! How many times have you heard this answer?
Fifty Shades of Grey. I thought, "Yeah this is good, but I can do better."
I assume all authors also love to read, so what book inspired your love of reading?
Oh my! Probably a
Dr. Seuss! I read at a very early age, so Green Eggs and Ham. ;)
How old were you when you wrote your first story?
I’m giggling now. 54. I have been a storyteller all my
lifee, but never put pen to paper until Siri’s story started forming. I had a rather serious MS attach last
year and I wrote this story as therapy.
Who are some of your favorite authors now?
Steven King and JK Rowling. I bet you thought I
was going to say EL James.
Are you a plotter or a pantser?
Ha! By the seat of my PANTS! There is a plot, but I let the characters
talk and I lead them there gently.
Are your characters based on people you know?
Yes. Oh my! Yes!
What are some of your writing rituals?
Chocolate and music.
How do other books influence your writing?
I haven’t read since I started writing. I don’t want someone
else voices in my head.
How do you get motivated to sit down and write with all the real world interruptions?
Motivation isn’t a
problem. I still write as therapy, but it is hard to work full time and write full time. I fight the battle of who
get how much of my time.
Which one of your books is your favorite?
Untouchable. It started this whole madness I call my life

If you could have a writing retreat anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be and why?
Somewhere on a big beautiful lake, because my husband loves to fish. That way we would both be happy
when we aren’t together.

Royal! No doubt! Because it is smooth, golden and delicious and makes you do naughty things! Umm

I do live in a fictional
world. LOL! I would live in Siri’s world. She is based out of Vegas and Aurei has a home in Italy.
