Synopsis

Review

I won a copy of this book through the Goodreads First Reads giveaway program in the hopes that I would leave an honest review.

This book uses simple language and word repetition which makes it a great book for a beginning reader. The large font size is icing on that cake.

The illustrations are very simple, but if you have a young reader they will be less distracting than complex illustrations would be.

The one area that bothered me was the punctuation and lack of line breaks for new speakers during dialogue. This may not seem important to most people, but I strongly believe children should be shown the correct way of writing from the beginning.

Overall I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. - Katie
