*Platypire Read-A-Thon* October 2024

It is already October, like how the heck did that even happen? I don't think I authorized that. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for Halloween, but I'm not ready for the winter holidays, and it feels like they're practically next week. Because we're heading into spooky season, and it's been a hot minute since I read them, I'm planning on reading several of the Goosebumps books that I've found at thrift stores. I'm not going to be listing them all on my TBR here though, because they won't be included after October. Just know that my Read list should be crazy long at the end of the month because I can read a Goosebumps book in like an hour. I also want to focus on spooky books where I can, although I'll probably get halfway through the month and then decide I'm ready for cheesy romance or something. But that's enough babbling for now. Let's get to the list!

Unlike last month, this month is missing the newest selections for two of my bookclubs because we have not met and picked those books yet, and I'm on top of getting this post built. But if I'm being honest, I typically don't read those books until the beginning of the next month anyway so that they are fresh for my meeting, so it's fine. And if I'd been on top of the list last month, their books wouldn't have been added to the list until this one anyway, so yeah. In addition to reading a bunch of Goosebumps books this month, I really want to get 20 of the books from my list read as well. I also want to write and post reviews for more than 20 books. How well do you think I'll do on my goals? - Katie
