*Stacking the Shelves* 3 November 2018

(Titles link to Amazon via Amazon Affiliate links)

Stacking The Shelves is a feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Now, I already have a monthly post I do featuring the books I get in the mail (and it's a lot because I have a serious Goodreads First Reads giveaway addiction), and I'm posting my monthly Read-A-Thon posts again too, which covers the books I receive through Netgalley. So my STS post will feature all the books I've been one-clicking on Amazon.

On that note, here are the books I picked up this week. All Goodreads First Reads ebook wins unless otherwise specified.

Annaliese, Sound and True by Lindy Keane Carter
The Customer Centricity Playbook by Peter Fader and Sarah E. Toms
Beyond the Truth by Bruce Robert Coffin
The Ancient Spirits of Sedgwick House by Catherine Coulter
Thread the Halls by Lea Wait - I snagged this book on sale for just $1.99 (no longer on sale) because it will be a great read for my 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge at some point.
End of Ever After by E.L. Tenenbaum - I snagged this book for just 99 cents (maybe still 99 cents) because I just love fairytale retellings.
Life on the Edge by Jennifer Comeaux - I snagged this book for free (no longer free). I'm not really sure where I saw it shared, but it was somewhere on Facebook.
Finding Rebecca by Eoin Dempsey - I grabbed this book for just $1.99 (maybe still $1.99) after seeing it in an email from Amazon because I tend to enjoy WWII era fiction.
Terra 1 by Ross Turner
Synanon Kid Grows Up: A Memoir of Learning to Live Outside the Synanon Cult by C.A. Wittman
Through the Eyes of a Fisherman by Dennis Blue
Borderless by Eliot Peper
Dynamite Fisherman by Preston Fleming
Debris Dreams by David Colby
not Quite Forgotten by Nishi Giefer
Bollywood Invasion by Ricardo Alexanders
Eternal Return by Theo Clarkson
American Homemaker by John Kaine
Brutal Curse by Casey Bond - I preordered this book for just 99 cents and it went live (and is maybe still 99 cents) because not only is this a fairytale retelling, but I also absolutely LOVE the cover.
Ancestral by Nathan Field

And that is all the books that I picked up over this past week. This is a pretty measly haul, especially compared to last Saturday's STS post from me. I've apparently been staying away from the ebook sales this week. My list isn't even long enough to fit in two whole book covers for crying out loud! It almost makes me want to buy a couple sale books real quick just to flesh things out a little more, but I'm not going to do it.

What new books have you added to your shelves recently? - Katie

  1. Brutal Curse's cover really is AMAZING. I've been curious about these books, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

    1. I haven't actually read anything by Casey Bond, but I've noticed that she usually has her books on sale when they first release, and basically all of her covers are amazing, so I go ahead and one-click swearing that I'll find some time to read this one...and that just keeps not happening. But maybe Brutal Curse will be the one that gets my read because it's Beauty and the Beast retelling.

Thanks for stopping by. - Katie

  2. You always have such a great list of so many different types of books! Thanks for sharing

Here's my Stacking the Shelves Post

    1. Thanks. If nothing else, it at least demonstrates how eclectic my reading tastes are. And thanks for stopping by. - Katie

  3. Thread the Halls looks fun and Christmasy. :)

    1. That's why I bought it, because I always need more Christmas books. Thanks for stopping by. - Katie

  4. Man, I'm gonna have to grab Brutal Curse now. I will make sure to sign up for your 12 Days of Christmas - can't wait!

    1. It has SUCH a pretty cover (but Casey L. Bond has a ton of pretty covers for her books). Thanks for stopping by. - Katie
