*Book Blogger Hop* First read of 2023

We are on to a new week for the Book Blogger Hop hosted by the lovely folks over at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. This weeks questions is:

What was the first book you read this year? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My first read of 2023 is a combination of books, because I've had several started that I'm working on. The first one that I touched and made progress on was The Stranded by Sarah Daniels. I had an ARC of it from Netgalley and pretty much always read on my phone while I'm walking on my treadmill. And since I currently try to start my days with a workout to get my metabolism going, the first thing I'll read any day is something on my phone.

What was your first read of 2023?

If you're stopping by from the book blogger hop, please leave a link to your post so I can be sure to check out your post as well. - Katie

    1. I feel like it's really not, but new year new me, right? LOL. It's a positive change I'm trying to make and I've been moderately successful with it. Thanks for stopping by. - Katie

  4. I agree with Deb - wish I had the persistence to start my day so positively. I do start with reading, but not with exercise. I have to be at work at 7am, so I'm just not motivated to get up early enough to exercise the! Hope you're enjoying the book.

    1. I'm not going to lie, it's been rough. I have to be at work at 8 am, and to ensure I'm not stuck in too much traffic I leave the house by 7. And this isn't something I could have done at my old job when I had to be there at 7 most days, but my schedule at that job fluctuated a lot more so I was just always exhausted. Thanks for stopping by. - Katie
