*Stacking the Shelves* 8 December 2018

(Titles link to Amazon via Amazon Affiliate links)

Stacking The Shelves is a feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Now, I already have a monthly post I do featuring the books I get in the mail (and it's a lot because I have a serious Goodreads First Reads giveaway addiction), and I'm posting my monthly Read-A-Thon posts again too, which covers the books I receive through Netgalley. So my STS post will feature all the books I've been one-clicking on Amazon.

On that note, here are the books I picked up this week. All Goodreads First Reads ebook wins unless otherwise specified.

Old Faithful Affair by Dora Benley
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Safety Rules by Mohammad Azzam
Rapid Falls by Amber Cowie
Beacon by Michelle Irwin - I snagged this book as a freebie (no longer free) after seeing the author share about having several of her books free on Amazon.
Phantom by Michelle Irwin - I grabbed this book for free (no longer free).
Beastly by Michelle Irwin - Here's another freebie for me (no longer free).
Physis by Michelle Irwin - Got this one for free too (no longer free, but possibly only 91 cents).
Phobic by Michelle Irwin - Grabbed this book for free as well (no longer free).
Phase by Michelle Irwin - Snagged this book as a freebie (no longer free).
Decode by Michelle Irwin - Got this book for free (no longer free).
Decipher by Michelle Irwin - Here's another book that I snagged as a freebie (no longer free).
Declare by Michelle Irwin - Got this book for free too (no longer free)
Deceive by Michelle Irwin - Here's another freebie from Ms. Irwin for me (no longer free).
Decay by Michelle Irwin - Got this book for free as well (no longer free).
One Perfect Fake Boyfriend by A.J. Wynter - I snagged this book for just 99 cents (maybe still 99 cents) because it'll be a good read for the 12 Books of Christmas Reading Challenge.
The Witch of Kilmara: Irish Tales by Dermot O'Hanlon
Merry Friggin' Christmas: An Edgy Christmas Comedy by Joseph Cillo Jr.
Cyber Countdown by Terence Flynn
The Ground You Stand Upon: Life of a Skytrooper in Vietnam by Joshua Bowe
Becoming by Michelle Obama - I had some Great on Kindle credit that was about to expire so I decided to splurge on this to use them up.
The World of Lore: Dreadful Places by Aaron Mahnke - This was another Great on Kindle book I bought to use up some of those expiring credits I had.
Shrill: Notes From a Loud Woman by Lindy West - I snagged this book on sale for just $2.99 (no longer on sale), but I also used Great on Kindle credit so it was essentially free for me.
The Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell - I snagged this audiobook on sale for just $1.95 as an Audible Daily Deal.
Temptation Rag by Elizabeth Hutchison Bernard
V Games by Caroline Peckham - I snagged this book for free (maybe still free) after seeing it shared by an author on Facebook.
Orchid and the Wasp by Caoilinn Hughes - I snagged this book on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). It's a book I'd guaranteed on First to Read but ran out of time on my loan, so snagging it on sale was a bonus.
Orange Sky by J.E. Gaudet
Picture Imperfect by Mary Frame - I grabbed this book for free (maybe still free) after seeing it shared on Facebook by the author.
The Rancher's Christmas Song by RaeAnne Thayne - I snagged this book on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). I read a RaeAnne Thayne Christmas novel last year and really enjoyed it, so I look forward to reading this too for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
Magic Bitter, Magic Sweet by Charlie N. Holmberg - I snagged this on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). I'd seen it on another blog recently and it caught my attention, so I wanted to snag it while it was on sale.
The Witch of Willow Hall by Hester Fox - I got this book on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). I got a copy of this book on Netgalley, and the release date got away from me. I'm still super excited about reading it, but I need to find some time to get to it.
Unwrapping the Holidays by Nana Malone and Sheryl Lister - I snagged this on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). It'll be a great read for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
Eating Her Christmas Cookies by Alina Jacobs - I grabbed this book for just 99 cents (possibly still 99 cents). This seems like quite the euphemistic title to me, and it'll be a good read for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
Hold Me, Cowboy by Maisey Yates - I grabbed this book on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). I figure this could be a great read for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
The Holiday Gift & A Cold Creek Noel by RaeAnne Thayne - I snagged this book on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). The Holiday Gift is the book I read last year, but felt like Cold Creek Noel was still worth the $1.99 for the combined ebook. It'll be a great read for my 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
Never Christmas Without You by Nana Malone and Reese Ryan - I snagged this on sale for just $1.99 (maybe still on sale). It'll be a great read for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge at some point.
My Fight For My Family by David Jordan
Cry Baby by Lori Allison
A Christmas Romance by Betty Neels - I snagged this book on sale for just 99 cents (no longer on sale). I figure this will be a great book for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
The Wealth of Kings by Sam Ferguson - I snagged this for free (no longer free), after seeing it shared in an author newsletter.
Epic Farm Boy by Sam Ferguson - I grabbed this book for free (maybe still free) after seeing it shared in an author newsletter.
The Fur Trader by Sam Ferguson - Snagged this as a freebie (maybe still free) from an author newsletter.
The Fur Trader 2 by Sam Ferguson - Grabbed this as a freebie (no longer free) from an author newsletter.
Aikur's War by Sam Ferguson - Got this as a freebie (maybe still free) from an author newsletter.
Troven by Eric Buffington - I got this book for free (maybe still free) from an author newsletter.
Codex of Darkness by E.P. Stein - I got this book for free (maybe still free), and while I'm not exactly sure from where, I think it was an author newsletter.
Maybe Now by Colleen Hoover - I grabbed this book for free (maybe still free). I haven't read a Hoover book before, but you know I probably should at some point because lots of people seem to like her.
The Queen's Mark by Tori Smith - I snagged this book for free (maybe still free). I just really like the cover.
Murder at the Book Club by Betsy Reavley - I grabbed this book for just 99 cents (maybe still 99 cents). With a title like that, how could I pass it up.
A Lake House Holiday by Megan Squires - I snagged this beauty for just 99 cents (still 99 cents). It'll be a great read for my 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge.
The Radical Element: 12 Stories of Daredevils, Debutantes & Other Dauntless Girls by various authors - I grabbed this book for just $2.99 (maybe still on sale). I've had it on my wish list for a while, so catching the sale was a nice bonus for me.

So that's all the new books I've added to my shelves this past week. I kind of went a little bit crazy with the sales and freebies and holiday books this week again.

    1. Yeah, I have some issues with self-control, especially when I see books on sale for cheap. But I will certainly never run out of reading material, that's for sure.

And yay on starting a new Christmas book. Thanks for stopping by. - Katie
